  • Hundreds of mature roses
  • Vibrant colours and scents

Bringing back the Roses

In 2020 during imposed lock down, the weeds overtook. The old roses in the rose bed were suffering, many were dead, and disease was rife. Over the course of 5 years, the old roses have been saved, over 100 further added, huge improvements made with volunteers help.

Community support

We now have a good group of about 15 volunteers who come and assist in the garden.

Our roses

We have a wide variety of roses and we’ll share more about them here

Future improvements

Our next plan is the refurbishment of the memorial statue through a grant from the War Memorials Trust via Fife Council. This will also require a significant input from the community for which most of the funds raised are being put aside in readiness.

  • Hybrid Musk –  Daybreak; Buff Beauty; Felicia; Cornelia
